Kyriacou Mediation specializes in the resolution of litigation and pre-litigation matters, including individual, class, and representative employment cases.

Gig has been mediating cases for over three decades and is well-regarded by both plaintiffs and defendants for his conversational approach, ability to assist the parties past impasse, and diligent follow-up to see if settlements can be reached even past the date of mediation.  He works closely with all parties to find potential paths to viable resolutions, while ensuring the highest chance of success at the end of the process.  His style is low-key but tenacious, which has been proven time and again with his high rate of settlements.

Christianna has mediated a variety of employment and wage-and-hour disputes and has served as a Settlement Officer for Resolve Law LA, through which she has helped litigants in Superior Court cases reach resolutions.  She thoroughly prepares for each case, delving into the facts and supporting evidence to understand the key legal issues and practical risks on both sides.  She thoughtfully advises parties as they work toward a resolution, suggesting creative ways to advance to a deal.  She has helped settle cases early and on the eve of trial after prior negotiations stalled.

FIRST-HAND IMPRESSIONS

Al J. Carrion

"On behalf of my client and myself, I want to thank you for your skillful approach to resolving this difficult case. ...I have been an attorney for 33 years. I served 11 years as a member of the State Judiciary. I also served for 17 years as Dean of Cal Northern School of Law. ...I taught courses in Alternative Dispute Resolution and since my retirement from the bench, I have served as Settlement Conference Judge and Discovery Referee. I also serve as a mediator in approximately 15-20 cases per year. ...[T]here are a lot of mediators in our business today, the majority are simply average, few have superior mediation skills and then there are those like you that I call the 'one percenters', who are born with the people skills necessary to be overwhelmingly successful in bringing conflicting interests together for resolution."
